Calling all fans of the royal game of CHESS! Seasoned veterans and absolute beginners alike are invited to participate in the Visitation School Chess Club, beginning Wednesday, January 18th, 2012.

Chess Club will be held every Wednesday from 2:45-3:45 pm in the Art Room for students ages 5 and older. Every class period will include both instruction as well as guided practice time under the tutelage of experienced chess instructors. New participants will receive a tournament-style chess set, and students will have the opportunity to participate in activities to improve their chess "ranking" within the club. A tournament will be held near the end of the session with prizes awarded to all players!

(No class on April 11th)
