Quote of the Week:
“Each of us has a vision of good and of evil. We have to encourage people to move towards what they think is good... Everyone has his own idea of good and evil and must choose to follow the good and fight evil as he conceives them. That would be enough to make the world a better place.”
Please sign up to help with lunch supervision. Take a day at a time or a whole week! See your child and their friends during lunch and help the teachers get a short break. Click here to sign up for the 3rd Trimester!

The Totus Tuus Summer Catechetical Youth Program will be hosted by Visitation Parish, July 24-29.
Totus Tuus is a diocesan program whereby seminarians and college students travel throughout the summer to various parishes, leading week-long Vacation Bible schools. A team of four seminarians and college students (male and female) will be coming to Visitation the week of July 24-29.
The program is open to children entering 1st-12th grade. The grade 1-6 program takes place Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 2:30pm with a special mass each day at 11:15am, followed by lunch. The grade 7-12 program takes place Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
There will also be opportunities for 7th and 8th graders to help with the children's program, which is a good way to earn service hours. The diocese requires that these teen helpers for the children's program also participate in the evening Totus Tuus youth program.
Information and registration forms for Totus Tuus are available on the parish website at:
May is ALS awareness month! Students asked to walk for ALS on Friday, May 20th
In order to raise awareness for ALS & raise funds for the Les Turner ALS Association, Visitation is asking all students to walk around the school on Friday afternoon, May 20th, and make a contribution to the Les Turner ALS Foundation. The Foundation provides services to over 90% of the people affected by ALS in the Chicagoland area and provides counseling, home visits, medical equipment and much more free of charge to families affected by ALS.
Students who contribute can wear gym shoes to school on Friday. The Toole family is donating bracelets for the Vis students with their team name on it – Matt’s Minions.
Students will walk between 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday, much like we did last October to benefit the Catholic Education Foundation’s “Move Your Feet” fundraiser. Contributions at any level are welcome. Please be generous!
